Infinix GT 50 Pro is official: Liquid cooling, bypass charging, shoulder triggers, 6,500 mAh battery

Powering the GT 50 Pro is MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, an "all-big-core" 4nm SoC paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. To manage thermals, Infinix is adding a "HydroFlow liquid cooling system", which utilizes a micro-pump to circulate coolant across a pretty large 6,437mm² area to keep temperatures in check.
The GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a variable 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
Battery life sees a decent boost from 5,500 mAh on Infinix GT 30 Pro to a 6,500 mAh (6,150 mAh in some regions) supporting 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. Notably, the new MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory enables wireless bypass charging, powering the phone directly (to prevent heat build-up).
A gaming phone isn’t a gaming phone without custom controls, which is why new dual-pressure mechanical triggers provide 10 sensitivity levels and eight mapping points to gamers.
Launching with Android 16 and five years of updates, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is set to debut in three colorways - Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier. Open sales in Indonesia are scheduled to begin tomorrow, with the base 12/256 GB model priced at IDR 6,499,000 (around $376/€330). Users requiring more storage can opt for the 12/512 GB configuration for IDR 7,499,000 (around $434/€370). Meanwhile, wider availability is yet to be confirmed.
