Magic V6: Honor confirms global battery capacity for new foldable

Honor has confirmed new details about the global version of the Magic V6. Earlier this week, the company revealed the device's IP rating. Now, it has shared battery capacity information for the global version of its new foldable.
To recap, the Magic V6 will be the first IP69-certified foldable. Currently, only the Pixel 10 Pro Fold gets close in this regard with an IP68 certification (curr. $1,799 on Amazon). However, the Magic V6 should even be protected against high temperatures and high-pressure water.
Also, the Magic V6 will have a larger battery capacity globally than its peers at 6,600 mAh. In practical terms, this represents a 13.4% increase on the Magic V5 sold outside China. Whether this translates into superior battery life than the Oppo Find N5 remains to be seen, though.
For context, the Magic V5 fell around 25% short of the Find N5 in our tests despite featuring a 4% larger battery capacity. Moreover, recent leaks indicate that the Magic V6 will ship with a smaller battery globally than within China. Even then, it seems that some units will feature 6,850 mAh batteries and others 7,150 mAh alternatives. Honor will officially launch the Magic V6 on March 1 before showcasing the device during MWC 2026 in Barcelona.
