According to multiple reports, Apple has made some unusual design decisions to maximise the battery life on its first foldable. Eclipsing even the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in this regard, the iPhone Fold may feature a two-tone design too.

Apple is not expected to release the so-called iPhone Fold for months yet. That does not stop leakers from detailing Apple's first foldable ahead of time, though.

For instance, Fixed Focus Digital recently informed its followers that the iPhone Fold will ship with the largest battery of any iPhone to date. Writing on Weibo, they claimed that the iPhone Fold is set to arrive with a circa 5,500 mah battery.

In other words, Fixed Focus Digital suggests that Apple's foldable will launch with 25% and 10% battery advantages over the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, respectively (curr. $1,499 on Amazon). In a more recent post, Instant Digital reiterates Fixed Focus Digital's claim, adding that an absence of physical buttons on the foldable's left-hand side has allowed Apple to maximise battery capacity.

Apparently, the iPhone Fold will mimic the iPad mini by having all its buttons on the right-hand side, including a Touch ID-wielding power button. A stacked logic board in this half too is said to eliminate the need for excess wiring. Currently, Apple is expected to release the iPhone Fold in two colour options, although only a white colour option with an 'all-black' camera module has allegedly been confirmed so far.
