Minisforum showcased a couple of new products at CES 2026. Although many of them were already announced beforehand, the EliteMini M2 Pro is a surprise addition to the lineup. It's powered by the brand-new Panther Lake series, with the top-end configuration featuring the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H.
This is one of the performance-focused options within the new lineup, and it comes with the new Arc B390 iGPU. According to our early benchmarks, the graphics solution can offer come reasonably close to the RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, which should make the Minisforum EliteMini M2 Pro a good choice for 1080p gaming. There's support for eGPU as well, through the USB4 ports, and for those wondering, the port configuration is as follows:
- 3x USB4/Thunderbolt 4
- 1x HDMI
- 1x DisplayPort
- 1x 2.5G LAN
- 1x 10G LAN
- 2x USB Type-A (likely 3.2 Gen 2)
The brand also confirmed that there will be a configuration with the Intel Arc 370 iGPU, meaning that the base config will come with the Intel Core Ultra 5 338H. Minisforum further notes that the system can be equipped with up to 96 GB of LPDDR5x RAM running at 9,600 MT/s.
As for the design, per the short CES 2026 showcase, it appears to be similar to the AI X1 Pro (available on Amazon), featuring a sleek chassis with a compact form factor. There's no word on when the EliteMini M2 Pro will be available to purchase, and Minisforum has also yet to share pricing details of the system. However, as the mini PC has already been showcased at CES 2026, it should make a proper debut soon.
