Hardly any time has passed since MSI refreshed its Prestige laptop series with new 14-inch and 16-inch models. Presented during CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the new laptops adopt Intel's Panther Lake platform in various guises. For instance, MSI mentioned the Core Ultra 7 355 and the significantly more powerful Core Ultra X9 388H during its initial showcases to replace predecessors utilising Lunar Lake processors (curr. $1,280 on Amazon).
Now, some of these laptops have started popping up at retailers across the UK and the US. For the time being, not all SKUs are available. Instead, MSI restricts those in the UK to Core Ultra 7 355 versions of the Prestige 14 Flip A4+ and Prestige 16 AI+. For reference, Currys currently stocks both with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for £1,449 and £1,399, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Prestige 14 Flip AI+ has reached the US for slightly less than MSI had indicated. Previously, the company asserted that Core Ultra X7 358H models would be available for $1,399 with a complimentary Nano Pen included too. However, pricing has been adjusted down by $100 since CES 2026, with B&H Photo Video and MSI's store stocking this SKU for $1,299. Please see our Prestige Flip 14 AI+ and Prestige 16 AI+ launch articles for more details about both laptops.
