MSI unveils Prestige 14 AI+ and Prestige 14 Flip AI+ laptops with Intel Panther Lake and OLED panel

The MSI Prestige 14 AI+ and Prestige 14 Flip AI+ have been unveiled alongside the Prestige 13 AI+. They're essentially the same device, with the latter offering additional hinge flexibility. Unlike the Prestige 13 AI+, MSI offers the Prestige 14 AI+ and the Prestige 14 Flip AI+ with up to a Core Ultra X9 388H Panther Lake processor. Earlier leaks implied Intel's Core Ultra X 300 SKUs would come with an Arc B300 series iGPU. Memory and storage maxes out at 64 GB LPDDR5x and 2 TB PCIe Gen4, respectively. 

Both laptops offer up to 64 GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 2 TB of storage. Similarly, the Prestige 14 AI+ and Prestige 14 Flip AI+ come with the same 14-inch FHD+ (1,920 x 1,200) touch-enabled OLED panel with 10% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. I/O is identical across the board, with two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, a 3.5 mm combo audio jack, and an HDMI 2.1 port. Interestingly, the micro SD card reader is absent on both models.

Other specs include a 1080p webcam with Windows Hello and a privacy shutter, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and an 81 Wh battery on both models. While the Prestige 14 AI+ and Prestige 14 Flip AI+ are both 13.9 mm thin, the latter is slightly heavier at 1.37 kilograms, and the former weighs in at 1.32 kilograms. The power button on both laptops also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. 

MSI has only specified the price of one Prestige 14 Flip AI+ model. It comes with an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The company also includes a free MSI Nano Pen with every purchase. It will cost $1,399 and will be purchasable later this year. Information about other models' price and availability is expected to surface later.
