During CES 2026, Asus refreshed the TUF Gaming A14 with new processors, including one option that did away with an Nvidia dGPU altogether. As with previous years, an Nvidia option will still be available, though. However, this option retains the same GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU as last year's model (curr. $1,549 on Amazon).
Arguably the pick of the two is Asus' FA401EA variant, which has beaten the ROG Zephyrus G14 to adopting AMD's Strix Halo platform. Specifically, Asus has opted for the Ryzen AI Max+ 392, which AMD presented during CES 2026 with 12 cores, 24 threads and a Radeon 8060S iGPU. While less powerful than the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 found in the ROG Flow Z13 on the CPU side of things, the TUF Gaming A14 should match its 2-in-1 counterpart when it comes to GPU performance.
Initially, Asus stated that it would be offering the TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA with up to 32 GB of RAM. Silently, the company has updated the laptop with a second memory configuration, which can already be seen on Geekbench. As the image below shows, Asus will now offer up to 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. Thus, the TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA should be capable of setting 48 GB as VRAM for its Radeon 8060S iGPU. Unfortunately, pricing and availability remain unknown at this stage.
