Asus introduced the TUF Gaming A14 at Computex 2024 with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX Strix Point APUs and RTX 4060 graphics. This year, Asus is revising TUF Gaming A14's internals to feature the Ryzen AI 7 350 Krackan Point APU together with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU.
According to Asus, the TUF Gaming A14 is the "first AI gaming laptop" to offer a combined CPU and NPU AI performance of 80 TOPS, with an additional 572 TOPS from the GPU. The RTX 5060 Laptop GPU in the TUF Gaming A14 is configured at a 105 W max total graphics power (TGP). Asus says that the TUF Gaming A14 can output a combined total 120 W from the CPU and the GPU in Turbo performance mode.
Other specifications are identical to those of the 2024 TUF Gaming A14. This includes the 14-inch 2.5K 165 Hz display with a 100% sRGB coverage, 3 ms response time, and Nvidia G-Sync support. Also onboard are USB4 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, 100 W Type-C Power Delivery, 1.7 mm key travel, 73 Whr battery, FHD IR webcam, and dual M.2 2280 storage slots.
The TUF Gaming A14 measures just about 1.69 cm thick and tips the scales at 1.46 kg. Being a TUF-branded laptop means that the device is tested to conform to MIL-STD-810H standards.
Apart from the TUF Gaming A14, Asus also showed off the TUF Gaming A18 along with the TUF Gaming F16 and TUF Gaming A16 laptops announced previously.
