Beelink has announced plans to replace its SER9 mini-PC series. To recap, the company gradually released the SER9, SER9 Pro and the SER9 Max (curr. $678.99 on Amazon) throughout last year with a choice of AMD APUs like the Ryzen 7 H 255 and the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
Now, the company has indicated that it is preparing two SER10 mini-PCs built around AMD's newer Gorgon Point architecture. Surprisingly, Beelink will not be launching the SER10 first. Instead, the company is focusing on the SER10 and SER10 Max, which will leverage AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 APU. In real terms, little separates the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 from the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 other than faster RAM support plus higher CPU and GPU clocks.
Thus, the pair may only perform marginally better than older Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-based mini-PCs. Unfortunately, Beelink has not shared pricing or availability yet. For the time being, the company has merely suggested that both mini-PCs will be launching soon. Currently, Beelink will distinguish the SER10 Pro and SER10 Max in the following areas:
| SER10 Pro | SER10 Max | |
|---|---|---|
| Colours | Amber Orange, Emerald Green, Frost Silver, Space Grey | Frost Silver, Space Grey |
| RAM | Soldered LPDDR5X | Socketed DDR5 SODIMM |
| Memory configs | 32 GB RAM/1 TB storage or 64 GB RAM/1 TB storage | 32 GB RAM/1 TB storage or 64 GB RAM/1 TB storage |
| I/O | Built-in microphones & speakers, 10 Gbps Ethernet | 10 Gbps Ethernet |
