The Retro Style is one of the first mini-PCs to leverage AMD's Gorgon Point architecture. Also featuring up to 64 GB of RAM and a 4 TB SSD, the Retro Style wears its design inspirations on its sleeve too.

Acemagic has teased the release of another retro-inspired mini-PC. At the start of the year, the company presented the Retro X5 with a design clearly inspired by the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), albeit with the same AMD Strix Point APU that we have in other mini-PCs like the Geekom A9 Max (curr. $1,199 on Amazon).

Now, the Board 3 Dual-C Retro Style can be added to the list of retro-inspired mini-PCs that Acemagic hopes to launch later this year. This time, the company has drawn inspiration from classic home consoles like the Dreamcast and the PlayStation 1. To that end, the Retro Style features two buttons on its top edge positioned next to a circular motif designed to resemble a top-loading disc drive. However, the mini-PC also has a dedicated power button on its front edge next to USB Type-A, Type-C and 3.5 mm jack connections.

As the second image below shows, the Retro Style also takes advantage of AMD's new Gorgon Point architecture. Currently, Acemagic has confirmed Ryzen AI 9 465 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APUs, with others to follow. Moreover, the Retro Style will be configurable with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and 4 TB of storage across dual SO-DIMM and M.2 2280 slots. Acemagic has packaged all this hardware in a house that measures just 148 x 128 x 40.8 mm, too. A release date and pricing remain unknown at this stage, though.
