Earlier today, Xiaomi revealed the launch date for the Poco F8 series after teasing its imminent arrival. As we have covered previously, the company's teasers indicated that it would be introducing two smartphones simultaneously, just like the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra (curr. $735 on Amazon) in March.
Now, Xiaomi has confirmed as much across a series of tweets. As expected, Xiaomi will kick off its Poco F8 series with the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra rather than the Poco F8. Reproduced below, the tweets also corroborate leaks concerning the pair's global colour options, with Black, Blue and Titanium Silver finishes for the Poco F8 Pro, but just Blue Denim and Black options for the Poco F8 Ultra.
The same tweets also essentially confirm that the Poco F8 pair are Xiaomi's global alternatives to the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. To that end, the latter will integrate a dedicated speaker within its camera housing tuned by Bose. Xiaomi will launch the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra on November 26 at 08:00 UTC. In the meantime, please see our Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max for what to expect from Xiaomi's forthcoming Poco F8 pair.
