Xiaomi has now confirmed the global launch date of the Poco F8 series. This comes right after the brand started to tease the smartphone lineup. In one of the past teasers, the company had even hinted at an imminent release of the lineup, and the speculations turned out to be mostly true.
As the brand recently shared, the global launch event for the Poco F8 series is set for November 26, 2025. This date is a day earlier than the previously teased launch date. Nonetheless, at launch, the smartphone lineup is expected to unveil two phones: a Pro and an Ultra.
Among the two, the Ultra is expected to feature the current-gen flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. To be precise, the Poco F8 Ultra will reportedly be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which Xiaomi has somewhat confirmed with a recent teaser post.
If the company doesn't make any spec changes, the global Poco F8 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 2.1 Bose stereo sound setup, up to 1 TB of storage, and a 7,560 mAh battery with support for 100 W fast charging (140 W Anker Prime charger curr. $65.99 on Amazon). The Redmi K90 Pro Max also comes with a capable triple 50 MP camera setup on the back.
Regarding the Poco F8 Pro, it's rumored to be a rebadged version of the Redmi K90. If this holds true, the upcoming global phone will feature a relatively compact form factor and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both are expected to run on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, out of the box.
