Anker has released the new Nano Docking Station (13-in-1, Triple Display, Built-In Removable Hub) in the US. This desktop accessory is an upgraded version of the older Anker 575 USB-C Docking Station (13-in-1).
The biggest design difference between these two accessories is that the new Anker Nano Docking Station has a removable 6-port hub. Its outputs include 5 Gbps 7.5W USB-C, 5 Gbps 4.5W USB-A, SD/TF 3.0 card slots, and HDMI (4K@60Hz). It also has a 100W USB-C input and an 85W maximum output to connect to the host device. When docked, this smaller accessory is surrounded by a slim button-activated light strip. The detachable hub measures 3.15 x 1.65 inches (~8.0 x 4.2 cm) and weighs 1.27 oz (~36.0 g).
Other ports on the larger Anker Nano Docking Station include two 480 Mbps 2.5W USB-A, 10 Gbps 7.5W USB-C, Gigabit Ethernet and an audio jack. Two HDMI ports (4K@60Hz) and a DisplayPort (4K@60Hz) enable you to connect up to three monitors simultaneously. However, it is worth noting that external monitors connected to macOS devices will show identical content, whereas Windows users can show different content on each screen. The final two ports are an up to 140W power input and a 10 Gbps 100W upstream USB-C port for the host device. The product measures 5.61 x 1.77 x 3.74 inches (~14.2 x 4.5 x 9.5 cm) and weighs 14.36 oz (~407.1 g).
You can now buy the Anker Nano Docking Station (13-in-1, Triple Display, Built-In Removable Hub) at the brand’s online store in the US for $119.99, thanks to a $30 discount on the $149.99 RRP. Plus, customers are currently offered a free Nylon USB-C to USB-C 100W Cable (10 ft) with their purchase. It is unclear when these deals will end. Another unknown is whether or when versions of the product for the EU and UK markets could arrive.
