New Govee Floor Lamp 2 Pro now CSA-certified

The Govee Floor Lamp 2 Pro has been spotted. This previously unannounced smart home product has been listed in the database of the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), the body responsible for managing standards like Matter. It is expected to be an upgraded version of the Govee Floor Lamp Pro.

In the CSA database, the Govee Floor Lamp 2 Pro is listed as a Matter 1.2 certified device. This means that it will connect with a wide range of smart home ecosystems, like Google Home, Apple Home and Amazon Alexa. The brief product description suggests that it is “designed to be installed on indoor walls”, though this conflicts with the traditional definition of a floor lamp, which typically has a long stand with the base touching the floor.

Govee’s upcoming Floor Lamp 2 Pro is also said to “create ambient lighting effects”. It is likely to offer a wide range of white and color lighting effects. For context, the original Govee Floor Lamp Pro comes with 85 preset scenes and offers up to 2,100 lumens of brightness. Other features of this older model include spot-free lighting and an integrated Bluetooth speaker. We also know that the new Floor Lamp 2 Pro will support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with remote controls available through the Govee Home app.

It remains to be seen when the Govee Floor Lamp 2 Pro will be released; it could be unveiled at CES 2026 in January. The cost of this new smart lighting is also unknown. As an indication, the Govee Floor Lamp Pro retails for $199.99 (curr. $149.99 at Amazon).
