IKEA is now selling its range of Bilresa Remote controls in Europe. These smart home products were leaked earlier in 2025 and officially confirmed by the brand at the start of November 2025.
In IKEA stores in Sweden, you can now buy the Bilresa Remote control, white smart/dual button for SEK 79, and the Bilresa Remote control, white smart/scroll wheel for SEK 99. Sets of three of each remote in various colors are also available, with the dual button variant priced at 179 SEK, and the scroll wheel version at 199 SEK.
Plus, in the IKEA app, the Shop&Go feature allows you to see the prices of some of these products in other countries. For example, in Germany, the dual button and scroll wheel Bilresa remotes will cost €4.99 and €6.99, respectively. The colorful kits will retail for €14.99 and €19.99 in this country. These prices differ from an earlier report. In the UK, the sets of dual button and scroll wheel remotes will cost £10 and £12, respectively. While not officially confirmed by IKEA, rumors suggest the button and wheel remotes will cost £3 and £4 each here.
IKEA's Bilresa Remote controls can be used to switch connected smart home products on or off. They can also be used to adjust the brightness of a smart light or to trigger a preset scene. These products work with the IKEA Dirigera hub and are Matter compatible, meaning they can integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems. IKEA is expected to release the Bilresa Remote controls in more countries from January 1st, if not before.
