TP-Link is rolling out the Tapo C615G Kit security camera in Europe. Currently available to order in two countries in the region, this is a solar-powered model with a SIM card slot, meaning it can connect to 4G LTE networks. Other features include color night vision, AI tracking, and human and vehicle detection.

The TP-Link Tapo C615G Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt 4G LTE Security Camera Kit is now available to order in Europe. This smart home product is designed for outdoor use, so you can keep an eye on spaces like your driveway or yard.

Tapo's C615G is a 2K 3MP security camera with a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and a F/1.6 aperture. It offers a 360° horizontal and a 134° vertical field of view with AI tracking. The model can capture footage 24/7, with 850 nm IR LED night vision, and color video in low lighting is possible thanks to two integrated spotlights. Plus, it can distinguish between people, pets and vehicles, a feature that is free of charge, with users notified of visitors via the TP-Link Tapo app. Through the app, you can view real-time or historical videos or share captures.

The wireless C615G security camera comes with a solar panel; 45 minutes of direct sunlight is enough to power the device for a day, and the battery should run for around 120 days on a single charge. Tapo's camera can be used in areas with poor Wi-Fi signal thanks to a SIM card slot, allowing it to connect to 4G LTE networks, with data managed via the brand's app. There are two storage options: an up to 512 GB microSD card (not included), or Tapo Care cloud storage with a subscription. It is IP65 rated weatherproof and can operate in temperatures between 20°C and 45°C (-4°F to 113°F).

In Germany, you can now buy the TP-Link Tapo C615G Kit for €129.90 at Amazon. Deliveries are currently estimated between December 2025 and February 2026, though these dates could change. At Amazon in Spain, the product is listed with a €159.90 RRP. Again, deliveries are said to be delayed to some time between January and June 2026 for the time being.
