Xthings unveils new Ulticam IQ V2 AI-powered security camera with Matter 1.5 support

Xthings has unveiled the Ulticam IQ V2, a 4K AI-powered security camera in the global market. The Ulticam IQ V2, designed to be used indoors as well as outdoors, can capture footage at a maximum resolution of 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) with a 160° field of view. The AI-powered security camera comes with person, vehicle, pet (cat/dog), and package detection. Plus, the company has also integrated Google’s Gemini AI for scene analysis and natural language lookups. 

The IQ V2 has an integrated siren and spotlight for deterrence. You can tweak the camera’s settings and monitor the real-time view directly from your smartphone via the U Home app. Furthermore, the security gadget supports Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. As for storage, it supports SD cards up to 512 GB. On top of that, the company also offers lifetime-free rolling 7-day cloud storage. 

Moreover, the Ulticam IQ V2 is weather resistant and the company claims that it can easily operate in temperatures between -4 and 122 °F (-20 and 50 °C). Other features include infrared night vision up to 10 m, two-way audio, HDR, low-light capture mode, Matter 1.5 support, voice command support (Alexa/Google Assistant), and a built-in mic and speaker. 

The Xthings Ulticam IQ V2 will be sold at the end of December 2025 via Ulticam.com and Amazon, starting at $199.
