A range of Tapo smart security cameras were on show at IFA 2025. These products from the TP-Link sub-brand included the recently released C660 Kit, and the upcoming C566WB and C675D models. These each feature a 4K 8MP camera, and two of the three are equipped with solar panels.

TP-Link showed a range of its latest security cameras at IFA 2025. In July, the brand launched a couple of 4K security cameras with a motion-tracking feature, as well as a dual-lens model. At the event in Berlin, more new and upcoming smart security devices were displayed.

The upcoming Tapo C566WB Outdoor Pan/Tilt Security Wi-Fi Camera is a 4K 8MP model, with support for the brand’s ColorPro Night Vision technology. All users can get notifications when a person, vehicle or pet is detected, and there is a red-blue alarm to deter intruders. Plus, this security camera offers facial recognition and 360° AI tracking, though it is unclear whether these are subscription-only features.

The Tapo C660 Kit Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt Security Camera is another model designed for outdoor use. This also features a 4K 8MP resolution camera, tailored notifications and 360° tracking. However, it offers the less powerful Starlight Color Night Vision. Another difference is the addition of a solar panel above the camera, though it is also wired to ensure it will run 24/7. This recently launched model is currently available at Amazon for $149.99 (RRP $169.99).

Also shown at IFA 2025 was the Tapo C675D Kit Solar-Powered Dual-Lens Pan/Tilt Security Camera. This model, unveiled at CES earlier in 2025, is designed to cover larger areas. It features a 4K 8MP resolution, with a wide-angle lens with a 169° field of view and a 6 mm telephoto lens for detailed images. It is equipped with AI human tracking technology, with radar detection, and also has a solar panel. It is unclear when the TP-Link Tapo C566WB and C675D Kit will be released, and how much they will cost.
