Dreame has announced new robotic lawnmowers for the 2026 gardening season. The Dreame A3 AWD is a new flagship with all-wheel drive and virtually borderless mowing (< 1.5 cm), while the V1 series navigates smaller lawns using only a camera.

Dreame is making a big splash at IFA 2025. Not only with its own hall, but also with a veritable flood of new products. In addition to innovative robot vacuums and a host of household appliances, these include the new Dreame A3 AWD Series and V1 Series robotic lawn mowers for the gardening season.

Dreame A3 AWD: Flagship robotic lawnmower with all-wheel drive and EdgeMaster 2.0

Following the launch of the Dreame A2 this spring, a significantly improved version of Dreame's debut robotic lawnmower, the A1, the manufacturer is now upping the ante. The upcoming Dreame A3 AWD is the new flagship in the portfolio and is designed for lawns up to 3,500 square meters.

Thanks to all-wheel drive, a gradient capability of 80% (38.7 degrees), and the ability to overcome obstacles up to 5.5 cm high, the A3 AWD is also suitable for rough terrain. Navigation continues to be completely RTK-free: 3D LiDAR and two HDR cameras are installed, which also enable automatic AI mapping.

Another special feature is located on the underside of the Dreame A3 AWD. Although the A2 already offers virtually borderless mowing via EdgeMaster with a sliding mower deck, this has now been further optimized with EdgeMaster 2.0. The two mower decks of the Dreame A3 AWD are also sliding and are designed to enable virtually edge-free mowing with a distance of less than 1.5 cm.

However, it will only be possible to assess how well this works in practice next year. Exactly when the Dreame A3 AWD will hit the market and how much it will cost remains unclear.

Dreame V1 series for smaller gardens

While the flagship A3 AWD is aimed at owners of large or demanding properties, Dreame also supplies robotic lawnmowers for smaller gardens in the V1 series. Here, too, the company forgoes RTK, instead opting for a camera-based approach with OmniEyes 1.0 dual vision with AI mapping.

According to the manufacturer, Dreame's V1 series can climb slopes of up to 40% and overcome obstacles up to 4 cm deep. Narrow spaces of up to 60 cm are also said to pose no issue. The manufacturer also promises a long battery life and the detection of more than 300 objects. Further details are expected to be announced soon.
