The IKEA Kajplats Matter-compatible smart light bulbs are now available in Sweden. These products were officially announced by the brand at the start of November 2025, with pricing having since leaked.
IKEA’s Kajplats range includes two LED E27 white spectrum clear glass globe bulbs, offering different brightness levels, now available from SEK 79 (~$8.40). There is an LED E14 white spectrum clear glass candle bulb, for up to 470 lumens brightness, costing SEK 79 (~$8.40). It is selling LED E14 and E27 white spectrum opal white globe bulbs, starting from SEK 49 (~$5.20). For users looking to add color to their living space, you can choose from LED E14 and E27 color and white spectrum globe bulbs, with an opal white finish, starting from SEK 79 (~$8.40).
There are also LED GU10 spotlight bulbs, with white and color and white spectrum options. On top of this, customers are offered a range of starter kits. There are two products with the E27 opal white bulbs, one white and color and white spectrum, each accompanied by the Bilresa smart dual-button remote. Prices for these kits start from SEK 129 (~$13.70). The final option includes the same remote control and three GU10 white spectrum bulbs; this costs SEK 249 (~$26.40).
All of the IKEA Kajplats products can be connected to the IKEA Dirigera Hub, with remote controls via the IKEA Home Smart app. Plus, support for the Matter smart home protocols means that they will integrate with a range of third-party ecosystems.
It has also been reported that these new IKEA Kajplats smart light bulbs can be found in the IKEA app in other European countries, like Germany. IKEA noted earlier this year that its new product range would officially be released globally on January 1st 2026, though some products might arrive in some markets earlier, depending on space in its stores.
