Microsoft has brought back its holiday sweater after a brief hiatus, and it comes in an Xbox edition that pairs nicely with its limited-edition Xbox Crocs. The Microsoft sweater has received multiple variants over the years, starting with a Windows 95 edition in 2018. While it wasn't available in 2024, it is back in three variants.
The new collection includes the Xbox Holiday Sweater, which has Xbox inscribed on the chest and the Xbox logo on each sleeve. Made from 100% polyester, Microsoft says the knitted sweater is a must-have for any Xbox fan. Priced at $59.95, the Xbox Holiday Sweater is available in 8 sizes, ranging from XS to 4XL.
If you are not an Xbox fan, you can choose between the Artifact Sweater and the Zune Holiday Sweater, though the latter seems uglier.
The Artifact Sweater is off-white with an orange neckband, green cuffs, and a blue hem. The rest of the body is covered in familiar Microsoft icons, such as MS-DOS, Internet Explorer, MSN, Minesweeper, Paint, and Clippy. The first batch is out of stock, but you can still pre-order it if you don't mind waiting until early January for it to arrive. It costs $79.95 and comes in 8 sizes.
The Zune Holiday Sweater is made from 100% soft-knit acrylic, like the Artifact Sweater. It is mostly brown with a yellow neckband, cuffs, and hem. The center of the sweater features a large patchwork of the Zune logo and two smaller patchworks for the previous and play/pause buttons. It is also available in 8 sizes and sells for $79.95.
