The launch of the OnePlus 15 is likely just over a month away. While OnePlus has not commented on when its next flagship will arrive, the OnePlus 13 debuted a week after Qualcomm officially unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite powering the device. This year, Qualcomm has scheduled its next Snapdragon Summit to run between September 23 and September 25.
Thus, we suspect that OnePlus will announce the OnePlus 15 by the first few days of October at the latest. In the meantime, Liu Haoran, General Manager of OPPO's Industrial Design Centre, has dropped a few hints about the state of the OnePlus 15. Writing on Weibo, Hoaran describes the OnePlus 15 as being 'far better than imagined' and his favourite smartphone design in recent years.
Incidentally, recent rumours suggest that the OnePlus 15 could mirror the recent OnePlus 13s and OnePlus 13T with a squircal-shaped camera housing. Unfortunately, the General Manager decided not to share specifics. Moreover, the device has been tipped to launch with a circa 7,000 mAh battery to complement its Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which would represent a 16.6% increase over the 6,000 mAh battery inside the OnePlus 13 (curr. $787 on Amazon).
