The Redmi Note 15 series has taken another step closer to release after appearing across IMEI databases earlier this month. For context, it seemed that IMEI database results showed the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus in their Chinese, global and other regional variants. Potentially, Xiaomi may rebrand the former as a successor to the Poco X7 (curr. $294.99 on Amazon) globally too.
Now, one of those two models has appeared online alongside what is presumed to be the Redmi Note 15 5G in fresh leaks. Previously, the model number '25080RABDC' was believed to sit behind the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. However, the 3C indicates that this model number supports up to 45 W wired charging, which would be a significant downgrade from the 120 W charging offered by the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus.
Thus, XpertPick and others now believe that 25080RABDC relates to the Redmi Note 15 Pro, not its Pro Plus-branded sibling. As a result, it remains to be seen how '2510ERA8BC' sits within the series, particularly given its global and Poco-branded variants. Meanwhile, 25098RA98C is thought of as another member of the Redmi Note 15 series at this stage as well. Certified by the CMIIT in China, 25098RA98C is currently expected to be the Redmi Note 15 5G, which will be the entry-level model in the series before the likely release of 4G models in early 2026.
