The Moto G86 Power was launched in the UK and Europe in May. It will now be heading to India but with a few different specifications from that of the European version.

Motorola has announced that the Moto G86 Power will be launching in India in a few days. The smartphone made its debut in Europe alongside the Moto G86 (read our review) in late May. However, the version launching in India will have a few different specifications.

The Moto G86 Power for India will have the same design as the version sold in Europe. Based on a product page as well as a Flipkart promotional page, the phone will have a 6.7-inch Super HD AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of 4500 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

It will also have dual IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings and a MIL-810H military-grade protection. The Moto G86 Power will be available to buy in three Pantone colors — Cypress (olive green), Spellbound (dark blue), and Cosmic Sky (lavender). The European version comes in four colors including Chrysanthemum (red).

Apart from launching the Moto G86 Power in fewer colors in India, Motorola has also swapped out the processor. The Indian version will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, which replaces the Dimensity 7300 of the European version. RAM will remain the same at 8GB, but while those in Europe get 512GB of storage as standard, the model sold in India will have 128GB or 256GB of storage space.

Thankfully, the camera configuration hasn't changed. So it will have a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor with OIS as its primary rear camera and an 8MP ultrawide angle camera as the secondary camera. Inside a punch hole in the display is a 32MP front-facing camera, and it can record in 4K like the two rear cameras.

While battery capacity is sometimes a distinguishing feature for regional variants of the same phone, that isn't the case here. Like the European version, the Moto G86 Power launching in India will have a massive 6,720mAh battery capacity, and it will come with a 33W TurboPower charger.

Other confirmed features are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certification, Motorola Smart Connect, and Hello UI based on Android 15. It has also been revealed that the phone will receive a single OS upgrade and 3 years of security updates.

The Motorola G86 Power will launch in India on July 30 at noon. There's no info on the pricing but it should be cheaper than the European version which costs €329 (~INR 33,186). The standard Moto G86 (available on Amazon.de for €293.41) isn't available in the country.
