Motorola Moto G06: Leak reveals price and specifications
The Motorola Moto G05 was only launched in January, with prices starting from €129. Now, its successor appears to be just around the corner, as the Italian online shop Epto has already listed the affordable mid-range smartphone in three colors and two storage variants.
Accordingly, the smartphone will be available in colors called "Tapestry", "Tendril" and "Arabesque". The online retailer further lists configurations with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage for €122.90, and a version with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for €169.90. The stated prices include 22% VAT, meaning the smartphone could be offered slightly cheaper in other countries.
Since the Moto G05 was also offered in variants with 128GB of flash storage or as a maxed-out variant with 8GB of RAM, it is likely that Motorola will ultimately offer more Moto G06 variants than those that have already emerged. Either way, no further details regarding the specifications or launch date of the Moto G06 are known thus far.
That said, the mid-range smartphone is expected to offer relatively basic features, similar to the Moto G05 (from $101 on Amazon). The predecessor offers a 6.67-inch 90Hz IPS panel with a resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels, an outdated MediaTek Helio G81 processor and an 8MP selfie camera. Nevertheless, Motorola did include a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a relatively large 5,200mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C at up to 18 watts.
