With their AirPod-like form-factor with new groove-type touch control area, OnePlus' latest audio peripherals look a lot like their flagship Buds 4 counterparts. They also have a new charging case with wide, pronounced edges and a flat bottom.
The Nord Buds 3r also have the same Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and IP55 rating as the Buds 4, although they support OnePlus 3D Audio rather than ANC.
The Buds 3r also have AI Call Noise Cancellation, albeit for just 2 integrated mics per earphone whereas others have more.
They do have appreciably large 12.4mm dynamic drivers with a "titanized" vibrating diaphragm, and up to 54 hours of total estimated battery life.
They can connect to up to 2 devices simultaneously and use Google Fast Pair, yet have limited AAC/SBC codec support.
They might make up for that with their price, though, as they are already listed on oneplus.in at a "minimum fixed price" of INR 1,799 (~$21).
The Nord Buds 3r will be released to the Indian market in Aura Blue or Ash Black on September 8, 2025. Meanwhile, the Buds 4 are currently discounted to INR 5,999 on amazon.in.
