Edifier releases LolliClip open-ear TWS earbuds with health tracking, Hi-Res music, spatial audio, and AI noise cancelling
Edifier has released the LolliClip open-ear earphones for users that dislike inserting earbuds deep into ear canals and want to hear their surroundings at all times. This allows users to be fully aware of dangerous situations when driving or cycling, and hear work colleagues without having to remove earbuds or headphones. The Edifier LolliClip earbuds have an MSRP of $129.99 and are available from Amazon today.
The LolliClip supports Hi-Res music playback using audio codecs such as LDAC, as well as 360-degree spatial audio with head tracking. The 13 mm drivers can reproduce audio with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz. When desired, the triple AI-powered microphones in each earbud can reduce background noise through active noise cancellation.
The design of the LolliClip allows each earphone to be used in either ear and to automatically begin playing the correct audio channel when inserted. Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity enables multipoint connections, Google Fast Pair, and low latency in game mode. Each LolliClip weighs 7 grams (0.25 oz.) and is IP56-rated against dust exposure and water splashes.
Both earclips have internal heart rate and blood oxygen sensors, allowing users to track their health all day long with the Edifier ConneX app for smartphones. The battery lasts nine hours and can be fast charged in 15 minutes for an extra three hours of runtime. The case can provide an additional 30 hours of runtime when recharging the LolliClip.
