Baseus M2s Pro: Wireless earbuds start with Bluetooth 5.4, extra strong ANC and long battery life
Baseus launches new headphones on the market - the Baseus M2s Pro are wireless, like the vast majority of all current earbuds. They are in-ear headphones that are inserted into the ear canal. As with earplugs, this seal results in an attenuation of disturbing ambient noise. However, the Baseus M2s Pro are also equipped with active noise cancelation. This is said to offer a reduction of up to 52 dB (!) and operate with a frequency range of 5,000 Hz.
The headphones are said to support 96 kHz and 24-bit audio and, therefore, offer high playback quality. Data is transmitted via Bluetooth 5.4, which should also enable low latency - this can be particularly relevant for games, for example. During phone conversations, high sound quality should be achieved for the other party, as noise generated by wind, for example, is said to be effectively filtered out. Users should also be able to benefit from a kind of simulated surround sound, although such systems can never completely overcome physics and the presence of only two drivers.
The battery life of the M2s Pro is said to be up to seven hours with ANC deactivated. Charging for just ten minutes should provide a further two hours of battery life. With intermediate charges in the charging case, the total battery life can reach 35 hours. In China, the regular price for the Baseus M2s Pro is the equivalent of around 43 euros. Information on a global release is not yet available. Baseus also offers many headphones in this country, so a market launch in Europe seems possible..
