The Vivo X200 Pro was introduced in 2024 as a flagship device with a major focus on the camera. Ahead of any official confirmation, leaks and rumors regarding the successor to the X200 Pro have started surfacing online. A new leak from Digital Chat Station has revealed details regarding the camera setup of the Vivo X300 Pro.
According to the tipster, the Vivo X300 Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup. It is tipped to use a 50MP Sony LYT-828 1/1.3” primary sensor. The LYT-828 is Sony’s recently announced image sensor and is the successor to the LYT-818 that was utilized in the Vivo X200 Pro. The LYT-828 brings a new Hybrid Frame-HDR (HF-HDR) feature. According to Sony, this feature increases the dynamic range to more than 100 dB, up from 86 dB on the LYT‑818.
The X300 Pro’s camera setup is also said to include a 50MP ultra-wide and a 200MP 1/1.4” periscope telephoto lens. The tipster claims that Vivo will use a new coating technology to reduce lens flare.
The Vivo X300 Pro is rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 9500, the successor to the Dimensity 9400 chipset used in the X200 Pro. Moreover, a previous leak hinted at a 7,000mAh battery capacity for the X300 Pro. For comparison, the X200 Pro featured a 6,000mAh battery. The Vivo X300 Pro is expected to release in China in Q4 2025 followed by a global launch in early 2026.
