The successor to the Motorola Moto G05 is expected to be officially unveiled soon, as Ytechb has just published what are said to be official product images of the affordable mid-range smartphone. Accordingly, the smartphone will come in four colors, including beige, Pantone Tendril (green), Pantone Tapestry (dark blue) and Pantone Arabesque (orange).
At first glance, the design is very similar to the Moto G05, including an edge-to-edge camera module with dual lenses and LED flash, a flat frame, and a display with a relatively wide chin at the bottom. However, there is at least one downgrade: instead of a punch-hole, Motorola has opted for a notch on the new model to make room for the selfie camera. The volume buttons and the lock button, which apparently has an integrated fingerprint sensor, are located on the right side.
According to previous rumors, the Moto G06 will come to Europe with either 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash storage for €122.90, or with 256 GB of storage for €169.90. Like the previous model, Motorola is said to be installing a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor, which features two ARM Cortex-A75 performance cores with boost clock speeds of up to 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. A 5,100 mAh battery is also expected. Details on the remaining specifications are still pending. The previous model featured a 6.67-inch, 90 Hz 720p+ IPS panel, a 50 MP main camera, and an 8 MP selfie camera.
