An APK teardown of the Google app suggests that Pixel 10 buyers may get a free trial of the Google AI Pro plan. While the exact duration isn’t confirmed, past offers for the Pixel 9 series hint at a free subscription lasting anywhere from six months to a year.

The upcoming Pixel 10 series may include a free trial of the Google AI Pro plan, according to strings discovered in the latest version of the Google app. An APK teardown of version 16.30.59 points to a limited-time AI Pro subscription tied directly to Pixel 10 devices.

While the exact trial duration isn’t confirmed, past offers suggest it could range from six to twelve months. The Pixel 9 Pro models came with a full year of Google AI Pro, which includes Gemini Advanced and 2TB of storage. Meanwhile, the regular Pixel 9 got six months of Google One Premium, same storage, but without the Gemini features.

The AI Pro plan gets you Gemini Advanced with the 2.5 Pro model, 2TB of cloud storage, and early access to tools like Veo for video generation. You also get 1,000 AI credits each month for Flow and Whisk, plus deeper integration with Gmail, Docs, Chrome, and NotebookLM.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and S25 Edge were also spotted in the same eligibility list, with both phones offering a six-month AI Pro trial and 2TB of cloud storage. These repeated offers hint that Google is likely to keep bundling Gemini Advanced with its higher-end Pixel devices. In contrast, Apple is taking a different approach, prioritising on-device AI processing and using its Private Cloud Compute as a fallback for more complex tasks.

Google is expected to announce the Pixel 10 series soon, with a launch likely in the coming weeks.
