Google earlier confirmed the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold and its associated accessories-the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a-would be announced on August 20. It even took jabs at Apple for delayed Apple Intelligence features. If a new report from Winfuture is accurate, Google might need to get its own house in order first.
Those looking to check out the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Buds 2a, and Pixel Watch 4 will have to wait until October 9 for the privilege. That's over a month away from the initial launch stemming from "problems with the supply chain". It is understandable for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Watch 4, both of which have been heavily redesigned, but the Pixel Buds 2a is an incremental upgrade, and there's no conceivable reason for it to be pushed back so far.
Thankfully, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will arrive on time and hit shelves on August 28. While the base Pixel 10 offers measurable camera upgrades that many may consider downgrades, the other two might not move the needle that much. However, the TSMC-made Tensor G5 chip is worth looking forward to for its energy efficiency. And the best part is that the four devices, including the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, will allegedly cost the same as their last-gen counterparts.
