RedMagic typically offers some of the most powerful Android devices on the market, thanks to its aggressive implementation and active cooling hardware. That is set to continue with the next-gen RedMagic 11 series, and a new leak now indicates the company could go a step further with an "Ultra" model.
As shared by Paras Guglani, the Nubia gaming sub-brand is preparing to launch its first "Ultra" smartphone later this year. This device is billed to arrive as the RedMagic 11 Ultra, and will sit at the very top of the brand's lineup. As with previous RedMagic flagship models, the RedMagic 11 Ultra can be expected to pack Qualcomm's next Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and a slew of other performance-focused hardware bits.
It's unclear whether the RedMagic 11 Ultra will be an all-new model. An IMEI database listing reveals that "RedMagic 11 Pro", "RedMagic 11 Ultra", and "RedMagic 11S Pro" may all be potential names for one device, with the model number "NX809J". It wouldn't be surprising, however, if the RedMagic 11 Ultra directly succeeds the RedMagic 10 Pro+, albeit with a few improvements and slightly higher pricing.
