The RedMagic 10 Pro and the RedMagic 10 Pro Plus are more alike than different. Both phones have a 6.85-inch BOE AMOLED display with a 1.5K (2688 x 1216) resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It also achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3% thanks to its ultra-narrow bezels. In addition, the display has a 960Hz touch sampling rate and 2,592Hz PWM dimming.
Alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, RedMagic has equipped both phones with a Red Core R3 co-processor which it claims allows users to play over 200 popular games at up to 2K resolution at 120Hz. Where they start to differ is in the RAM and storage configuration. The standard model has 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM paired with 256GB or 512GB of storage. On the other hand, the RedMagic 10 Pro+ is available in 16GB and 24GB RAM variants with 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 Pro storage.
The two phones have a 16MP under display front-facing camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. As is the norm with RedMagic phones, the RedMagic 10 Pro duo have gaming shoulder buttons with a 520Hz touch response rate. The shoulder keys can also be customized to serve as a quick launch button for the camera app.
There is also the red slider switch on the right for turning on the Gaming Space Center. Both phones have an X-axis linear motor, a 360-degree antenna design to maintain a stable internet connection, and a 3-microphone system. RedMagic has also placed an audio jack at the top of the phone.
The RedMagic 10 Pro series also features a built-in active cooling fan with a speed of up to 23,000 rpm, a 10% increase over the fan speed of the RedMagic 9S Pro (available on Amazon for $749). It also has a 12,000mm2 3D ice-step vapor chamber that is 18% larger than that of the previous generation.
Another key difference between the two phones is the battery capacity. The RedMagic 10 Pro has a smaller 6,500mAh battery that charges at 80W while the RedMagic 10 Pro+ has a 7,050mAh battery with support for 120W fast wired charging. The two phones ship with ReMagic OS 10 which brings several new software features including version 2.0 of its X-Gravity Platform, support for AI game models, and its MORA AI companion. However, it isn't stated if the software is based on Android 14 or Android 15.
The RedMagic 10 Pro series is available in three colors - Dark Knight, Transparent Dark Knight, and Transparent Silver Wing. Price for the RedMagic 10 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (~€654/$692) for the 256GB version and jumps to CNY 5499 (~€720/$761) for the 512GB version while the RedMagic 10 Pro+ costs CNY 5,999 (~€785/$830) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB variant and CNY 7499 (~€982/$1038) for the 24GB + 1TB version.
