It seems that a new ultra-large gaming handheld is upon us, which would give even the OneXPlayer X1 a run for its money. For context, One-Netbook offers the OneXPlayer X! with an 11-inch display. By contrast, the smaller OneXPlayer X1 Mini comes with what appears to be the same 8.8-inch panel as the Legion Go (curr. $584 on Amazon). Incidentally, the company is now preparing to release the OneXFly F1 Pro as the first Radeon 890M-powered gaming handheld, albeit with a 7-inch display.
By contrast, this unnamed gaming handheld is said to contain a whopping 10.9-inch display, which is sandwiched between removable controllers. Surprisingly, the device has a standard Xbox controller layout, despite its expansive body. In comparison, Valve managed to include a pair of trackpads on the Steam Deck without sacrificing this controller layout.
Reportedly, the gaming handheld is made by Qianjilong, which is a new player in the gaming handheld space. Moreover, NITTRX alleges that the device uses the same display that ZTE includes inside the RedMagic Nova. If that is the case, then it should resolve natively at 2.8K with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the RedMagic Nova reaches 550 nits full panel brightness. However, it remains to be seen at this stage whether Qianjilong has borrowed any other elements from the RedMagic Nova, which starts at just $499 in the US.
