OneXFly F1 Pro: OneXPlayer to beat Ayaneo and GPD to next flagship gaming handheld release
Hardly any time has passed since OneXPlayer revealed the OneXFly F1 Pro. To recap, the company initially showcased the device in a short teaser video. Following that, it provided a few performance characteristics in Black Myth: Wukong at just 15 W.
Now, OneXPlayer has hinted at the device's impending global release. As usual, it has not shared a specific date just yet. Instead, it has confirmed that the OneXFly F1 Pro will be with us later this month.
Presumably, the device will debut first on Indiegogo before receiving a full retail release. Unfortunately, neither crowdfunding nor retail pricing has been outlined yet. The inclusion of an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU and an OLED display may make the OneXFly F1 Pro more expensive than the current OneXFly (curr. $769.99 on Amazon).
For reference, the company previously revealed that it had chosen a 7-inch AMOLED panel that resolves at 1080p and 144 Hz. Added to that, it turns out that this panel will deliver up to 800 nits peak brightness, 200 nits less than the Steam Deck OLED. Nonetheless, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and embedded Radeon 890M iGPU should make the OneXFly F1 Pro the most powerful gaming handheld around, at least for now.
