Ayaneo 3: Specs for new flagship gaming handheld now official
One-Netbook has just released the OneXFly F1 Pro with AMD's Ryzen AI 9 365 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APUs. In response, Ayaneo has now revealed more details about its third-generation flagship handheld. Unsurprisingly, Ayaneo has opted to power the Ayaneo 3 with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 too.
For context, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 serves as a showcase for AMD's new Zen 5 CPU cores, as well as its RDNA 3.5-based Radeon 890M iGPU. Incidentally, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is already available in mini-PC form through the likes of the Beelink SER9 (curr. $999 on Amazon). However, Ayaneo will also turn to the enduring Ryzen 7 8840U, which has become a staple of gaming handhelds in recent years.
On top of that, Ayaneo has confirmed that the Ayaneo 3 will be available with a choice between LCD and OLED displays. Seemingly, the latter will be the only one of the two to support HDR, though. Moreover, Ayaneo has provided a few hints about the device's control layout, which include a new set of rear-mounted buttons and what it describes as trigger lock keys. Although a release date for the Ayaneo 3 remains unknown, the company has at least put some meat on the bones of its previous teasers.
