OneXFly F1 Pro set to 10W TDP runs Red Dead Redemption at over 80 FPS
The OneXFly F1 Pro is the first gaming handheld with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, and thanks to the Radeon 890M iGPU, it can pretty much handle any AAA game you throw at it. To further showcase the handheld's capability, the company has now given a glimpse of how well the F1 Pro can run Red Dead Redemption at low TDP.
In one of the latest teaser videos, One-Netbook has shown the OneXFly F1 Pro getting over 80 FPS in the game at just 10W TDP. The gaming handheld ran the game at 1080p resolution, and while the graphics settings were turned to low, it's pretty impressive to see this level of performance out of the Radeon 890M at such a low TDP.
One-Netbook has also demonstrated how well the Ryzen AI 365-powered variant of the gaming handheld performs. In the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark, the Radeon 880M inside the OneXFly F1 Pro scored 2,084 at 10W, 2,967 at 15W, and 3,346 at 25W.
For reference, the score at 25W is higher than what the Asus ROG Ally X achieved at 30W Turbo mode in our benchmark. So, even the lower-end option of the OneXFly F1 Pro is capable of offering much better performance than the top-end last-gen gaming handheld.
Of course, the OneXFly F1 Pro is comparatively more expensive than the last-gen handhelds. With the pre-order discount in place, the base model costs $1,099, but this was expected because even the Strix Point mini PCs are pricey compared to their Hawk Point predecessors. Hopefully, the next-gen gaming handhelds with the Ryzen Z2 series will bring the price down a little (Legion Go with Z1 Extreme curr. $659.99 on Amazon).
