Finally, let’s talk about pricing. The realme 14 Pro+ 5G is priced at PHP27,999, In my experience, it is a reliable device, especially in the camera department, it delivers quality performance. Beyond that, it also features a large battery, ensuring extended usage, a definite plus for users on the go. In terms of design, it stands out with an eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing look. Its lightweight build makes it easy to carry, adding to the overall convenience. One of the standout features is the underwater mode, perfect for those who love beach trips and summer vacations. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Realme 14 Pro Plus. As a reviewer, moving into a budget-focused phone from a flagship can often be a frustrating experience, but that wasn’t the case here. The 14 Pro Plus is really well rounded, and frankly, a bit of a bargain. The software looks good and performs well, the battery lasts an age, the screen is lovely and the cameras outperform most similarly-priced rivals. It’s not the best option for die-hard gamers, but unless you’re playing very graphically demanding titles, the power here is likely sufficient. Of course, there are plenty of solid competitors to consider too. The recently launched (and similarly named) Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is the first that springs to mind.

The difference between the Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro Plus is that the latter has a slightly larger display, way better camera experience, and faster charging. The only decent alternatives to these two phones are Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro and 14 Pro+. They have specs similar to the Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro Plus but at similar prices. The final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your needs and requirements.

The Realme 14 Pro+ is a niche offering right now because of its limited availability. The maker was once a real challenger to the Redmi series, but now that only holds true for the Indian market. The 14 Pro+ is a well-rounded device with a bright OLED screen, good performance, versatile and reliable camera experience day and night. Realme UI is familiar, and the user experience is always smooth. The phone is not ideal, though. Its battery life is not up to par, its speakers' sound quality is mediocre, and the camera video quality is average at best. Still, we think that the Relame 14 Pro+ is a good alternative to the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ for its many cameras and solid execution, so we recommend exploring it if you are looking for a phone priced around €400. And if you live in India, you should definitely put it on your shortlists.

Over the past decade, smartphone design has plateaued, with manufacturers reluctant to innovate, adhering to the popular mantra, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” This has resulted in a stagnation of design, making most smartphones look similar, with only a few standing out. When Realme asked me to review its latest premium smartphone, the Realme 14 Pro Plus, I immediately noticed the company’s attempt to break the mould with a distinctive design that commands attention.

This concludes our Realme 14 Pro+ review. While the smartphone offers noteworthy improvements in key areas over its predecessor, there are things it could have done better. The display’s peak brightness lags behind competitors, and the colour-changing back panel, while innovative, may degrade with prolonged sunlight exposure, especially in a region like India. The camera performance, although impressive in many aspects, still requires optimisation for processing speed and colour accuracy. Additionally, Realme’s limited software update policy puts it at a disadvantage for long-term use, especially when rival brands offer more extended support. However, for those seeking a well-rounded smartphone with reliable performance, good battery life, and a modern design, the Realme 14 Pro+ delivers a strong value proposition.

The Realme 14 Pro+ stands out as an excellent choice if you’re looking for dependable cameras without breaking the bank. It doesn’t stop at just photography, though. With a stunning display and impressive speakers, it’s designed for an immersive multimedia experience. Add to that its long-lasting battery, which can keep up with extended gaming sessions, and you’ve got a phone that’s built to entertain. To top it off, the Pro+ comes in a sleek yet durable design, making it a package that’s as attractive as it is practical. The Realme 14 Pro, on the other hand, caters to those who value looks, display quality, battery life, and dependable everyday performance. Its primary camera punches well above its weight for this segment, but the lack of an ultra-wide camera is a noticeable omission that might frustrate some users.

The Realme 14 Pro Plus has a unique colour-changing design and a capable triple camera setup on the back. It also has a massive battery and a unique colour-changing design on the back. You will still need to deal with the presence of bloatware, lack of NFC and only two years of OS updates. You can also consider other options like the Vivo V40, Motorola Moto Edge 50 Pro, Realme GT 6T and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G. All these phones either offer better performance or superior cameras in the same segment.

The realme 14 Pro+ is a standout in the mid-range smartphone segment, delivering a blend of innovative design, robust performance, and sustainability. Its collaboration with Valeur Designers has resulted in a device that not only looks and feels premium but also offers a unique, dynamic aesthetic with its color-changing back panel. This feature, alongside the ergonomic quad-curved design, makes it a joy to handle and a conversation starter. Priced competitively at around $325 USD, the device offers exceptional value, blending high-end features typically reserved for more expensive models. It is an excellent choice for those seeking a stylish, high-performance device that aligns with modern sustainability values without breaking the bank.

The Realme 14 Pro+ is priced at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. At this price tag, the phone comes with a few high-end features. It sports a quad-curve display, a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 6,000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip. Don’t forget the colour-changing rear panel. After a long time, I have tested a phone that feels equally good on paper and in real life. The Realme 14 Pro+ is definitely worth considering.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
