Where other phones fall flat, the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro is just getting started: water and dust don't bother it, and it's ideally equipped for long periods of use thanks to its replaceable battery. In this review, we took a look at the upgrades the Pro version features and whether it offers more than other rugged phones.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro is built to handle the demands of work sites without many compromises. Its tough exterior, swappable battery, and good performance make it well-suited for outdoor use in dangerous environments. The speakers are loud, the cameras are reliable, and it has enough power for most workday tasks. The dim display is a disappointment, as is the tendency for the rear cover to pop off, but these don’t overshadow what the phone does right. Thanks to is combination of durability, performance, and cost, the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro is our Editors' Choice for rugged smartphones.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

77.9%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
