Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy A26 5G
The new Galaxy A smartphones are here, including the Galaxy A26 5G as the most affordable model in 2025. Compared to its predecessor, it has a better processor, a waterproof case, AI functions and now 6 years of updates. Its price is $300, with a strong downward trend.

The Samsung Galaxy A26 smartphone brings the focus back to the budget mid-range market, which didn’t see any competition for a long time. Most smartphones launched in the budget market tend to have budget specs and features that don’t appeal to modern users. They have displays that are not color-accurate and are quite dimmer outdoors. Their performance is also way off the mark and their cameras lack quality. Many smartphones in this price range still don’t have 5G connectivity, which is unacceptable in 2024. The Samsung Galaxy A26 excels in design, display, gaming, camera, and even battery. The main camera is simply outstanding for this price tag as it punches way above its class and certainly surprised us. It also comes with the latest Android out of the box and a commitment to six years of software updates.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

75.6%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
