in this video I'm doing a quick glass replacement on a Samsung Galaxy A30. This is the quick method, that i dont normally recommend but on cheaper phones the cameras are fairly small and less chance of glass falling on the lens.

Any budget smartphone comes with trade-offs. And while there are some frustrations with the Galaxy A20 — namely, a humble display and considerable performance lag — the phone's long battery life and better-than-average cameras impress. The ease with which it scratched was the biggest bother, but a case serves as an easy fix for that issue.

Skip the Galaxy A20 if you need a more dependable phone that doesn't suffer from performance lags. This device's best feature is a long-lasting battery, and the equally priced Moto G7 Power surpasses that.

Samsung’s looking to turn things around with their new batch of budget phones. The Galaxy A20 has a good mix of features for not much money: the display looks great, the cameras perform well and the overall design of the phone make it look more expensive than it really is.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 is a capable entry-level smartphone overall. It has a large display with decent performance, large RAM, great cameras, long battery life, and it also comes with a USB Type-C port with fast charging technology. In the end, I don’t like its fingerprint and smudge magnet design and HD+ resolution. It also has a weird fingerprint unlocking when the display is turned off, but, if you don’t mind these cons, then you can opt for this phone.

The Galaxy A20 is one of the most affordable members of the A-series, sporting Samsung’s Super AMOLED panel with a tiny notch, octa-core processor plus a dual rear camera. Does Samsung finally have a phone that can compete with budget manufacturers?

So how good is the Galaxy A20 priced Rs 12,500? The Galaxy A20 comes with a good sAMOLED display, One UI with Android 9.0, decent selfie experience and great battery life. But for a price of Rs 12,500, there are many worthy alternatives available offering Full HD+ resolution display, powerful processor and great cameras as well. So we feel, if you are looking for a phone in sub 13k price segment, you should be considering Realme U1, Zenfone Max pro M2 or even Redmi Note 7 which are better alternatives than the Galaxy A20.

Samsung Galaxy A20e
The Samsung Galaxy A20e boasts a 5.8-inch AMOLED display with a screen that is responsive to multi-touch. It has a satisfying resolution of 720 x 1,560 as its main display and a color depth of 16 M to showcase a variety of vivid colors. The Samsung Galaxy A20e comes equipped with a dual camera by pairing a 13 MP (F1.9) and a 5 MP ultra-wide Camera in one handy device. The dual camera effectively captures what the human eye sees, attributing its accuracy for sporting a 123 degree wide angle, suited for panoramic and scenic landscape shoots. The camera also responsively switches to Wide Shot mode on an automatic basis in order to capture everything in sight. This improvisation guarantees pictures that are taken no matter in the day or night to come out crisp and clear. Furthermore, the Galaxy A20e model has an 8 MP front camera with a clever Selfie focus which can blend the background and focus upon the person’s distinguished facial features. The Samsung Galaxy A20e houses a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery. It is claimed to be able to last all day and has 15 W Fast Charging capability to ensure the device to be sufficiently recharged while on the go. Lower settings and lesser background apps should effectively prolong the battery life and enable the Galaxy A20e to run even more smoothly. The Samsung Galaxy A20e comes with an optimal internal storage of 32 GB and can be further expanded by adding a microSD card. Sadly, the smartphone itself only houses a relatively low RAM of 3 GB, indicating that the device is susceptible to imminent lag and input delay if loaded with too many downloaded apps or multimedia. On the bright side, the Samsung Galaxy A20e has a surprising dual SIM capability, thus allowing two separate SIM cards to be slotted into the device, which can be used sparingly or at the same time. Dual SIM capability is inherently a lacking and overlooked feature by some of the other competing smartphone companies in the industry. This is a much appreciated feature in smartphones nowadays as carrying more than one phone has proven to have a chip effect in terms of every day productivity. Dual SIM is much valued by business people who prioritize practicality rather than novelty, and it is also a feature much sought after by academics these days. Impressively, the Samsung Galaxy A20e is loaded with plenty of intuitive sensors. The sensors of this model are capable of measuring physical quantities and transmit them to the application processor for further adaptation. The accelerometer measures tilt and motion, whereas the proximity sensor detects the user’s face and turns on the display screen accordingly. The phone also has a quirky rear fingerprint scanner as an extra yet simple security measure without the need to fumble over digits or traced pattern on the screen. The Samsung Galaxy A20e comes in four colors to complement its sleek and slim design. It is available in classic black, white, and blue. A stunning coral color as one of the available options, however, highlights the Samsung Galaxy A20e as a much considered option for the eccentric and bold. Spending a lot of money for a smartphone? It doesn't have to be like that, Samsung says, presenting its affordable entry-level Galaxy A20e for 179 Euros (~$199). It is able to score with astonishingly comprehensive equipment, offering an octa-core SoC, a dual camera, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual SIM, and VoLTE, among other things.

Compact phones such are becoming rare nowadays, so this handset will definitely appeal to people looking for a device that’s easier to handle. The A20e impresses on first impressions, with an intuitive user experience enhanced by solid speakers and great cameras for the price. However, extended usage reveals some frustrations, most notably the low quality display and sub-par battery life.

We are sure you have, by now, caught on to the gist of this review. The Galaxy A20e is a cheap device, and it is not hard to spot all the concessions Samsung made in order to keep it affordable. By itself, that is just fine, and if you do not care about performance or display quality, this compact phone should serve you well. Battery life is fine, plus it charges quickly. Daylight camera performance does not disappoint.

The 140-Euro (~$167) cheap Galaxy A20s offers a large display for lots of fun - at least that's how Samsung advertises its entry-level phone. Whether the A20s is really fun in everyday life despite its low price, you can find out in our test report on the Galaxy smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is a great improvement over its predecessor, as it offers better performance and quality without raising the price too much. The only downside is that Samsung has decided to exclude the charger from the box, which is not very user-friendly for a budget device. However, this flaw is compensated by the impressive hardware upgrades that the Galaxy A24 has. The Samsung Galaxy A24 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G are two budget phones that have some similarities and differences. Since we have not tested the Xiaomi phone yet at TECH AMAZE, we can only compare them based on their hardware features. The Galaxy A24 has some advantages such as a more powerful processor, a camera with optical image stabilization, a newer Bluetooth version and a longer software update cycle. The Redmi Note 12 4G has some benefits too, such as a faster charger, a higher screen refresh rate, a lighter weight and a charger included in the box.

Samsung Galaxy A24 is our top pick for the best smartphones under Rs. 30,000 in Nepal. Except for the outdated dew-drop notch and the exclusion of a charger in the box, this phone is an absolute gem for the price.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 4G is a solid offer and has a nicely rounded specs sheet for its €200 asking price. We did like the 90Hz AMOLED screen - it turned out smooth, color-accurate, and quite bright. And the clean, no-nonsense design could be a potential showstopper for some, too. The Galaxy A24 4G offers outstanding battery life, and its charging speed is adequate for its price range. The battery, coupled with the energy-saving chipset, could be a real treat for many users who value longer runtimes on a single charge. The Galaxy A24 also surprised us with a good photo and video quality from the main and selfie camera, while its ultrawide and macro shooters turned out to be more of a gimmick rather than a useful feature. What we missed on this phone is 5G connectivity and basic ingress protection.

There’s no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy A24 is a budget-friendly 4G phone without much to lose in specs and features. Besides this, the company cut corners only from the necessary places. For example, low-quality video recording, slower processing speed, and average charging speed is expected in the affordable price range of the phone. But if you are considering 5G connectivity as a big deal, you might need to rethink alternative options. The users can check out the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G if they prefer a highly customized interface with lots of interesting features. But if you prefer the stock Android experience, you should consider the OnePlus Nord N30 for a smooth UI experience. Finally, decide by comparing alternatives to get the best deal according to your needs.

Price-wise, the Galaxy A25 is situated in the mid-range category, and, offering 4 big Android updates as well as 5 years of security updates, it has more software support than some high-end smartphones. The built-in OIS, the very bright 120 Hz Super AMOLED display and the 3,5 mm audio jack make the Galaxy handset worthy of your attention.

The Samsung Galaxy A25 offers a large and bright OLED screen, all-day battery life, good everyday performance, and excellent imaging capabilities for an affordable price. In addition, you won't have to worry about upgrading for several years thanks to Samsung's multi-year software update commitment. As such, the Galaxy A25 handily secures our Editors' Choice award for affordable Android phones. If you're willing to spend more, the $499 Pixel 7a is our Editors' Choice winner for midrange phones thanks to its more durable build, faster hardware, and even better cameras.

Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G? In this $300 price class, it offers good value for the money. You get a pretty screen, a substantial upgrade in processor and RAM compared to the cheaper A15 5G, a decent main camera and solid battery life. You can kind of live with this phone. But it's hard to be terribly excited about the Galaxy A25 5G. The design is disappointingly bland and plastic. And while the phone is not terribly slow, it's definitely not fast either. The OnePlus Nord N30, which is much older, still feels zippier than this here Galaxy A25 5G. And for just a bit more, at $350, you can also buy the flashier and more powerful Nothing Phone 2a. But if you want to own a Samsung phone and like the user interface, this is certainly a decent budget phone at a good price.

The Galaxy A25 5G sits right in the middle of Samsung's budget-friendly A series, replacing a Galaxy A24 that never made its way to the United States. It offers a smooth, 6.5-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-house Exynos 1280 chipset, and a triple camera system captained by a 50MP primary sensor. Oh, and it still has a headphone jack!

At just under £250/$300, the Galaxy A25 5G ticks a lot of boxes if you’re looking for a reliable budget smartphone. As well as 5G support, you get an excellent 120Hz AMOLED screen, good all-round performance, some good cameras and (perhaps most importantly) better software support than rivals.

So all in all, in the process of reviewing the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, I found it to be just about average. Like I said at the beginning, this phone is a slightly better version of the Samsung Galaxy A24 with a better display, 5G connectivity, and a free charger in the box. But, if you are working with a strict budget of around NPR 30,000 then you will not miss out on anything significant by opting for the Samsung Galaxy A24. Even though the Exynos 1280 on the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G is better than the Helio G99 on the A24 on paper, it is severely lacking in terms of optimisation. As a result, you won’t find a significant difference in performance. So, getting the Galaxy A24 and saving 7 to 8 thousand of your hard-earned money makes absolute sense too! On the other hand, if have a bit more flexible budget then going for the Samsung Galaxy A34 which comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, better camera quality, a more premium design, and an IP67 rating is kind of like a no-brainer.

All of these small updates pile up and arguably place the Galaxy A25 closer than ever to Galaxy A3X territory regarding features. Other than the upgrades, the Galaxy A25 still offers a solid build, now with a slightly tweaked design, which we found to offer a more comfortable grip. Both the battery life and performance are dependable, and the same can mostly be said about the camera setup. Well, at least in daylight. Low-light photography is a bit of a letdown, though still not bad enough to be a dealbreaker. We would have loved to see a proper ingress protection rating on the Galaxy A25 like its bigger brothers get, but perhaps next year. We really don't see anything major in the Galaxy A25 to complain about. It is a solid Samsung device with all that entails for a reasonable price, and we are sure it will enjoy good popularity.

The Galaxy A25 steps up the game with its Super AMOLED display and a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, making it a better choice for those who enjoy vibrant colors and fluid scrolling. The Exynos 1280 processor, coupled with 5G capability, positions it as a more future-proof device, offering better performance in gaming and intensive applications. The dual-speaker setup provides an enhanced audio experience. Camera-wise, the A25 offers noticeable improvements, especially in terms of white balance and saturation. So, in conclusion, the comparison between the Samsung Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 is a tale of budget versus features. While the A15 offers affordability and reliable performance, the A25 steps up with enhanced features like a superior processor, better display technology, and 5G capability.

The Galaxy A25’s design may not appeal to all, as it sports a basic, all-plastic build that lacks a premium feel. The absence of an IP rating for water and dust resistance raises questions about its durability in challenging environments. Moreover, the device’s U-shaped notch design is a step behind the current trend of punch-hole or under-display cameras, which might detract from its aesthetic appeal.

The Samsung Galaxy A25 does provide some great value for the money you will pay for. It has 5G connectivity, a flagship-level display, higher brightness, more than a decent chipset, and excellent battery performance. Even the camera is quite good, especially the main camera. Sure there’s no telephoto lens or high-end ultrawide but the superb main camera performance trumps them. Not to mention, it would be impossible to find a smartphone with a telephoto lens at this price in 2023. On top of that, Samsung’s long-term OS support trumps pretty much every other smartphone in this price range and above. No one beats Samsung when it comes to software support in the Android space. Considering all that it offers, the pricing is okay, and vice versa. However, not everyone is a fan of Samsung.

70.96%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
