Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy A17 4G
The Samsung Galaxy A17 4G has a more modern design, but otherwise the differences to its predecessor are limited. However, with an AMOLED screen and 6 years of updates, it still stands out among affordable phones.

The Samsung Galaxy A17 4G was officially announced and released on September 18, 2025, and it clearly targets users who want a reliable daily phone with a premium touch at an affordable price. The phone features a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (1080 × 2340 pixels), a sharp ~385 ppi pixel density, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Colors look vibrant, blacks are deep, and outdoor visibility is good thanks to strong peak brightness levels typical of Samsung’s AMOLED panels. The front is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, which adds confidence against scratches and minor drops, while the IP54 rating offers basic dust protection and resistance to water splashes. In terms of build and performance, the Galaxy A17 4G balances durability and comfort well.
