Motorola still has some ways to go to catch up with the number of smartphone makers currently selling entry-level devices in South Africa, but if it is capable of bringing more options like the Moto G37 5G into the country, it will quickly start to garner a name for itself locally. The fact that Motorola can cram so much into the 6.6″ body of this phone for only R4k is noteworthy, and in terms of delivering a signature Moto experience from a software perspective, it ticks all the boxes.

The Motorola Moto G37 doesn't attempt to be flashy; it simply gets the basics right. It's a reliable companion thanks to its large battery size, clear and smooth display, and quality audio. It is not designed for gaming and/or good photographs, but it is useful for daily use. The Moto G37 is definitely worth considering if you're looking for a reliable, aesthetically pleasing phone without breaking the bank.

The Moto G37 continues the series’ trend of delivering a solid smartphone at a reasonable price, although these days the G series doesn’t quite offer the same bang for your buck. Yet if you’re after a large-screen phone with solid battery life, stereo speakers, a headphone jack and expandable storage, the G37 is one of the very few that offer all this at a sub £220/$300 price.

ARM Mali-G57 MP2: Integrated mid range graphics card with 2 clusters. Based on the Valhall architecture.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

Dimensity 6300: The CPU offers a total of eight cores, which are divided into two clusters. One has two ARM Cortex-A76 performance cores with up to 2.4 GHz each, while the other has six ARM Cortex-A55 energy-saving cores with up to 2.0 GHz each. LPDDR4x RAM with 2,133 MHz can be used as RAM and UFS 2.2 is supported as internal memory.
