The Motorola Edge 70 Max is an upper-mid-range Android 16 smartphone in the Edge 70 series. It features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, Adreno 829 graphics, and either 8 GB or 12 GB of memory. Its 6.82-inch AMOLED display offers a 3168 × 1440 resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. A large 7,100 mAh battery is one of the phone’s principal strengths. The camera system combines 50 MP and 8 MP rear sensors with a 32 MP front camera. Reviews report strong endurance but criticize the basic camera technology and gaming performance compared with similarly priced competitors.

Reviews for the Motorola Edge 70 Max

Reviewing the Motorola Edge 70 Max, an alternative flagship-ish phone to the 70 Pro which emerged earlier in 2026. While not quite as premium vs the Moto Signature, the Motorola Edge 70 Max does boast some of the best battery life of this smartphone family. But how about the camera tech, gaming performance and beyond? And should you get this or the Edge 70 Pro? I tested this Moto phone out in Mexico, taking it to the World Cup, Lucha Libre and more. For one, the camera is a bit basic compared with other offerings from rivals at a similar price. The Motorola Edge 70 Max also doesn't quite match some of the best upper-mid-range mobiles when it comes to gaming smarts.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
