The Motorola Moto G87 is announced for late April 2026 and hits shelves in mid-May. It is a big phone 6.78 inches tall and surprisingly slim at just 7.3mm thick, weighing 183 grams. That is light for a phone with a large screen. The front has tough Gorilla Glass 7i, the frame is plastic, and the back uses a silicone polymer (eco-leather) finish, which feels soft and premium. It is also seriously durable IP68/IP69 rated, meaning it can survive dust, being dunked in 1.5m of water for 30 minutes, and even high pressure water jets. Plus, it meets MIL-STD-810H military standards for drops and temperature changes. You get two SIM options (Nano-SIM + eSIM or dual Nano-SIM), and it supports 2G through 5G networks so it is future proof for fast speeds. The display is a stunning 6.78-inch AMOLED with 1 billion colors, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an eye-popping 5000 nits peak brightness great for sunlight reading. The resolution is 1272 x 2772 pixels, sharp at about 450 pixels per inch.
