Philips Hue has announced new software updates for the Bridge v2 and Bridge Pro smart hubs. These devices were last updated in early December 2025, with software which added the ability to migrate multiple Hue Bridges to a Hue Bridge Pro.
Now, Signify, the company behind the Philips Hue brand, is pushing software version 1975104000 to the Bridge v2 and software version 2071193000 to the Bridge Pro. From the release notes, these two updates appear to be identical. Firstly, the company states that it is laying the groundwork for new automation controls for these smart hubs. Following upcoming app updates, users will be able to view automations on the screen linked to a particular room or zone.
On top of this, Signify suggests that it has made other minor improvements to the Hue Bridge v2 and Hue Bridge Pro. However, it does not provide further details. Software versions 1975104000 and 2071193000 appear to have started to roll out to customers, with the company encouraging users to check that they have automatic updates switched on in the Philips Hue app. It is unclear when these updates will reach all users of the Philips Hue Bridge v2 and Hue Bridge Pro (curr. $96.99 at Amazon).
According to Signify, the app update, which will bring the new automation control tool, is scheduled for release “in the coming weeks”.
