An upgraded version of the Philips Hue Flourish table light is on the way. The original version of this smart lamp was launched in 2018, alongside other products in the range like the Flourish pendant light.
At its Amazon storefront in countries like Spain, France and Germany, Philips Hue appears to have listed an upgraded version of this smart light, spotted by Hueblog. The new model has one key advantage over its predecessor: increased brightness. While the original version’s light source could output 800 lumens brightness at 4,000K, the refreshed variant is said to have an A160 LED bulb delivering up to 1,100 lumens brightness.
Philips Hue’s Flourish table lamp offers dimmable white and colored lighting effects, which can be remotely controlled via the brand’s app. Another newer feature is support for the Matter smart home protocol, for integration with third-party ecosystems. The product can also be controlled with voice commands. Plus, users can access MotionAware functionality for motion-triggered lighting when connected to a Hue Bridge Pro. The dome-shaped smart lamp measures 261 x 175 mm (~10.3 x 6.9 inches) and has a white finish.
The upgraded Philips Hue Flourish table lamp is listed with an RRP of €149.99, the same price as its predecessor. At Amazon, the product is marked as “Temporarily out of stock”, with no indication as to when it could become available in this market.
