Shelly smart temperature and humidity sensor now available in the US

Shelly has released the BLU H&T ZB sensor in the US. This smart humidity and temperature sensor has already launched in European countries like Germany (curr. €20.76 at Amazon Marketplace).

Uses of the Shelly BLU H&T ZB sensor include climate control in your home, to prevent mold and mildew, or to optimize the conditions in your greenhouse. According to the product listing, its operating temperature range is -20 °C to 60 °C (~-5 °F to 140 °F), and it can provide humidity readings between 0% and 100% RH. As with many of the brand’s products, the device offers both Bluetooth and Zigbee connectivity, allowing it to work with many other smart home devices.

Prospective customers should note that to remotely manage the BLU H&T ZB via the Shelly Smart Control app, it must be connected to a compatible gateway such as the Shelly BLU Gateway. It is a battery-powered device, running for around three years on a CR2032 battery, and is marketed as IP54-rated dust and water resistant. This compact gadget measures 37 x 37 x 10 mm (~1.46 x 1.46 x 0.39 inches) and weighs 13 g (~0.44 oz). 

You can now buy the Shelly BLU H&T ZB in the US for $22.99 at the brand’s online store. While there are three color options listed - Mocha, Black and Ivory - only the Black and Ivory versions are currently available. It is also worth noting that stock is limited, with around 300 units on offer; when more stock will arrive is unclear.
