The TP-Link Tapo C615F Kit Solar-Powered Floodlight Security Camera with Pan-Tilt-Zoom is about to be released in the EU. This model launched in the US in late 2025 and more recently arrived in the UK.
Tapo’s C615F Kit is a multifunctional smart home product, combining a security camera with an 800 lumen floodlight. This light could be useful when returning to your property at night, or could deter intruders. Users can adjust the brightness and the angle of the floodlight, with an option for motion-triggered lighting. This model has a 2K 3MP camera, which offers color night vision and can intelligently detect and track motion. Users can receive smart notifications, informing them whether a person, pet or vehicle has been identified; it is worth noting that this feature is free, with no subscription required.
Another element of the Tapo C615F Kit is the accompanying solar panel. Attached directly to the IP65-rated camera, or via a 13 ft (~4.0 m) long cable, the panel is said to deliver 24 hours' worth of power with 45 minutes of direct sunlight. Plus, the integrated battery offers a 140 day power supply. Captured video can be stored in the cloud with a Tapo Care subscription, or locally on an up to 512GB microSD card (not included).
In Italy, you can now pre-order the Tapo C615F KIT Solar-Powered Floodlight Security Camera with Pan-Tilt-Zoom at Amazon for €119.99. The item is scheduled for release on January 29th here. In Germany, the smart home product is listed at Amazon with a €109.90 RRP and a release date of February 1st.
